1.主要原因：两个人正在conversation spite of:是让步的意思，“虽然”，“尽管” 并不是所有的人has little money ，就会高兴的。着重强调“admire those（钦佩那些人） 3.leave----留下的意思 remain-----也是留下的意思 为什么这用leave，不用remain？ 英语真正是很难啊！ 学英语，平时就要多留意了。 remain有保持，仍然的意思。 要培养“语感”也很关键啊

2。I admire those people。__In spite of__ having little money, they feel happy and satisied。 为什么不能选With？ in spite of表示尽管。
用with是什么意思?尽管他们没多少钱,(但是)他们生活舒心满意。从句意可以看出使用in spite of,如果不限字数还可以写though,despite等等 3。Don't __leave__ him waiting outside in the rain any longer。
为什么不能用remain？ 把某人留在某地使用leave,遗留东西也是这样用。remain表示保持某个状态,某件事情用remain,而且它没有作及物动词的这种用法。
