22.2  Where the Purchaser shall detect any defects of materials and/or workmanship on the Vessel in respect of engine and machinery outfitting, etc during the guarantee period of eight (8) months, the Purchaser shall within thirty (30) days notify the Builder of such defects upon such defects becoming apparent.  Upon notification by the Purchaser of the defects the and make good the Builder shall with two (w) weeks take positive and effective steps to remedy such defects and make good the same without cost to the Purchaser or the election of the Purchaser pay a sum equal to the amount which the Purchaser would be incurred in repairing and making good the same, and where such defects should require the Vessel to be dry docked and repaired the Purchaser shall notify the Builder of such defects and the choice of dry dock shall be mutually agreed to by the Purchaser and the Builder.
