No。1 A 因为后面有个“every day”表示一般叙述情况，所以有“一般现在时”就可以了。 No。2 B 因为“take place”这个词组没有“被动语态”的形式所以选B 翻译“五四运动爆发于1919年。” No。3 B 这是个词组“prove (to be)”翻译“昨天他在会上所说的后来被证实是真的。
”（注意：虽然中文有“被”的意思，但英文要用现在时表示，不用“被动态”） No。4 B 这是特别容易混淆的词组，下面告诉你怎么区分 a number of 。。。 后面的谓语动词要用复数。 the number of。。。 后面的谓语动词要用单数。
例如：（同一句话） A large number of books are missing in the library。 The number of missing books in the library is large。
所以通过这个例子你应该能够体会出这两个词组的区别的了吧。那么你的那道题为何在“add”后面加个s想必你也已经明白了。 No。5 B 翻译“在过去短短的几个月当中，已经有不下20人死于交通意外事故了。”那个词组“over the past few months”表示“短短的几个月” 。
第三题答案应为C 因为prove是系动词，题干上最后不是有个形容词true吗。系动词没有被动语态，所以BD不对。而本题的意思为：他昨天在会议上说的话（后来）证明是真的。这里“证明”的动作不是经常性的，所以A不对。
1。B 你最好早点来，商店每天五点关门。 若没有前因，选哪一个都可以。动词强调每天五点钟发生的动作。而is closed 可理解为系表结构，系动词接形容词，强调状态。导致结果是不能购物。if it is open ,you can do some shopping。
2。选A 五四运动爆发与1919。take place 发生。用过去时。 3。B 他昨天会上所说的是真的。（被证实是真的）强调客观真实性。也强调现在的观点。 4。选B 我校学生数目增加到了2000。强调现在的客观事实。没有谈及对现在造成的影响，所以不必用现在完成时。
the number of 。。。 被看成整体，视为单数。一般现在时里动词后加s， 5。选B 过去的数月中超过20人死于交通事故。 现在完成时常用的时间状语有lately，recently，just，already，yet，up to now，till now，so far，to this day，in the past few years/months/weeks/days，over the past few years，during the last three months，for the last few centuries，through centuries，throughout history等。
