•   所长郑卿赫带领民警赶到新民农村，他们在外围悄悄展开了调查，得知赵鹃一直和老人在一起生活，婆媳关系比较紧张。
  Director Zheng Qinghe led the police to the 
  Xinmin Country。From the surrounding conditions,
  they had carried out an investigation quietly。
    
  He had learnt that Zhao Juan had been living 
  with her parents together。Tension developed 
  between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law 
  quitely 。
    
  3年前因为她们的住房改造，老太太得到十几万元的补偿，并用一部分钱在农村买了房子。
  Because their house had been the reconstruction 
  three years ago。The old lady abtained more than 
  ten thousand RMB compensation 。
    And she had bought 
  a house in the country with a sum of money。
  赵鹃没有工作，勉强跟随婆婆搬到农村，并总和指责她不干活的婆婆吵架。综合收集到的情况，郑卿赫决定正面接触赵鹃。
  Zhao Juan had no job。
    She was very reluctant to 
  move to the country with her mother-in-law。And 
  Miss Zhao often had quarreled with mother-in-law,
  who often found criticize her that she did not do 
  the housework。

    她拘谨地和民警交谈。赵鹃说自己很累，不想再触及老人死亡带来的痛苦，她保持沉默。次日，民警再次找到赵鹃，以闲聊的方式开始谈话，赵鹃也开始插话。
  Zhen Qinghe and other police paid a visit on her。
    
  What they did made her felt completely at sea。 
  She talked to the police timidly。She said that 
  she felt so tired that she was not willing to 
  touch the suffering of the old lady's death。
    
  She kept silence。The next day,the police found
  Zhao Juan again and started to talk in the way 
  to chat。Zhao Juan also began to get a word in。
    
  看时机已经到，民警突然话头一转：“你儿子知道奶奶的死讯吗？”赵鹃愣了一下，看看紧盯自己的民警说：“我没告诉他，怕他不安心。”民警追问：“为啥不安心？难道你能安心吗？”
  The time was ripe for questioning,so the 
  police changed the subject suddently;"Has
   you son gotten to know the news about his 
  granny's death?"Zhao Juan stumbled briefly, 
  glimpsing at the police who were staring at 
  her。
    Then she said to the police:"I did not 
  tell him。I was afraid that he did not feel 
  at ease。The police asked her about it 
  intensively:"Why not? Didn't you feel at 
  ease about it?"
  闻听此言，赵鹃一颤：“我有啥不安心的？婆婆又不是我砍死的。
    ”民警继续追问：“你怎么知道是砍死的？你准备如何向儿子交代？奶奶摔死的他能信吗？”
  She was startled to hear his words。
  "Isn't there anything wrong with me?
  Mother-in-law was not cut down by 
  myself。
    The police pumped out of her 
  unceasingly:"How did you know that
  she was cut down?How did you do any 
  preparation to explanation for your 
  son?Was he for sure that his granny
  dropped to her death?"
  赵鹃为自己的失言结巴起来，眼睛睁得很大，随即哭喊着说：“别问啦，你们枪毙我吧！”
  Having the eyes completely opened,she dropped 
  a brick so that her words did not go quite well。
     
  She wailed:"Do not ask me。You should execute me 
  by shooting!
  　　原来，案发当天中午，赵鹃正在睡觉，婆婆叫她起来做饭，赵鹃不高兴就没有动弹，结果俩人争吵起来。
  It turned out that Zhao Juan was having a good 
  sleep while her mother-in-law asked her to do 
  some cooking on the day of the case。
    Zhao Juan 
  was unhappy and she did not do some cooking so 
  that they had quarreled each other。
  争吵中，老太太抓起苍蝇拍扔过来，赵鹃在躲闪中杀机渐起，冲出屋外抓起一把砍柴用的斧头，返身向老人砍去，老人被当场砍倒在地。
    
  In the quarrel,the old granny got the
  flyswatter and threw it at Zhao Juan,
  who had a ideas to kill mother-in-law 
  suddently in the course of keeping out 
  of it。
    She rushed out of the house to 
  carry a chopping wood axe and came back 
  to cut her。The old lady was cut down on 
  the spot。
    
  赵鹃跑到弟妹饭店本想找丈夫商量对策，在两瓢凉水下肚后，她决定隐瞒真相。因此，她不顾家人的怀疑，怂恿丈夫开来死亡证明，迅速处理老人后事，企图逍遥法外。
  She ran up to her sister-in-law's restaurant。
    
  She meant it to be an informal discussion with 
  her husband。After having two gourd ladles of
  unboiled water,she decided to keep the fact from 
  other people。
    In spite of her suspicion,she still
  abetted her huaband to make death certificate out。
  Then she had done with the her funeral affair quickly
  in order to be at large。
    
  谁知被民警看出蹊跷，最终揭开了老人猝死谜底。
  Who knows that the police got to know 
  a catch in it。At last they found the 
  answer to sudden death of old lady。
