《老鹰之歌》（El Conder Pasa），世界上的版本不计其数，其实最初是一首秘鲁民歌，叫《老鹰之歌》，也被译为《山鹰之歌》、《雄鹰飞过》。这首源于秘鲁的民间曲调，据传是基于秘鲁自由战士图帕克-阿玛洛（Tupac Amaro）的故事，表达出对自由的追求生生不息。
  
1780年，他在领导一场反抗西班牙人的起义中被害，传说死后变成一只鹰，永远翱翔于安第斯山上。秘鲁人民暨此体现对自由的追求不息，1916由秘鲁的民俗音乐家Daniel Alomias Robles 完整记录下来。1956年首先被秘鲁音乐家艾多阿德法尔以吉他独奏的方式发表，1965年，欧洲著名的Los Incas乐团再度灌录此曲，恰巧被到巴黎旅行的 Paul Simon听到，保罗。
  西蒙相当喜欢这首曲子，一时兴起填上英文歌词，翻唱为《EI Condor Pasa(If I Could)》，回到美国后和搭档 Art Garfunkel一同灌录成唱片，于1970年风行全球，从此在世界范围内家喻户晓。
这首曲子因此成为南美洲最具代表性的一首民谣，后来出版的南美洲民谣专辑中，这首歌几乎不曾被遗漏。
  
此歌曲也被邓丽君翻唱过，成方圆也唱过。
