It looks like rain(=it looks like it's going to rain)像是要下雨的样子
注：英语口语中，尤其是美式英语，常用like代替as if或as thoug：You look like you slept badly。
书面英语中，此用法被视为不正确。
（以上摘自牛津词典）我个人认为因为look like:to have an appearance that suggests that sth will happen含有将来的意思，故It looks like（it's going to） rai中it's going to省略了。
