实际上，班得瑞的一些音乐是改编的流行歌曲，举例来说，“寂静山林”中的《Imagine(想象)》就是改编“摇滚之父”约翰-列侬的同名歌曲，在当时，《Imagine(想象)》也是一首流行歌曲，所以把流行歌曲称为庸俗，班得瑞称为雅的观点并不正确。流行歌曲应该是土壤，没有这个土壤，也不会产生班得瑞这样的音乐来。
