What do you think of the policy to ban firecrackers in important Chinese festivals?

I am againt such a policy. Without firecrakers,the Chinease festival will lose its flavor . It is our chinese people's tradition and culture. We are all used to hearing the firecrackers especially in Chinese traditional new year.
It is really a good idear.
It is not so much on cultural point of view, but rather on safety aspect of it.
i am against it. we have to preserve our tradition. at the same time we can have fun.
