"In the spirit of fair game, South Korea is adopting a unique preliminary structure for the WCG 2005 Korea Championship。
   
For the first time, professional gamers` and amateur gamers will each have their own preliminaries, respectively。 Winners from the professional bracket and amateur brackets will then gather at the national final and compete against each other for slots on the national team heading to the Grand Final in Singapore come November。
   
This will ensure an equal opportunity for all competitors, and a chance for amateurs to learn from each other and the best。
   
The Korea World Cyber Games is leveraging new mediums to extend its reach。 The Korean preliminary will be broadcast on cable game channels for the first time this year。
   
For example, OnGame Network, Korea’s most popular cable game channel, broadcast offline preliminaries for Warcraft ゲ and Counter Strike every Monday and Tuesday for four weeks beginning July 18th。
   The offline Starcraft preliminaries are also scheduled to air every Monday and Tuesday for three weeks in August
In addition, OnGame will broadcast the Korean national final in September and Singapore Grand Final in November。
   Korean game fans will be able to enjoy WCG 2005 from the comfort of their living rooms。"
