1、 rhelp是固定搭配短语,意思是向某人求助。现在求助的对象asingleperson做了先行词,定语从句就要用towhom来修饰9、我觉得选C，修饰全句。好像有一年的高考题中有这么个题就选that 13、我觉得选B，where在从句中做状语 14、选C，该句的先行词是boss，与department之间的关系显然是从属因此应该选用whose,在那个在百货商场工作应该说work in the department ，因此选用in whose来引导从句 15、这个题就选A。
the way 引导的句子这个经常考，应该做了不少这种题了吧一读就知道选A。这个答案是省略了that 如果说the way that you speak to her 也对 17、选A。of great importance 就等于important，可以把从句简化为which I think is important to science。
而I think 是插入语，可以省略不看因此又可以看作是which is important to science。这是个非限制性定语从句，修饰discovery。记住以后在句子中出现了插入语就划掉就可以了，因为有时候它会影响你对整个句子的把握，去掉比较容易分析句子结构。
