How to learn Mandarin in Shanghai,is it same with Chinese?
I confuse about Mandarin and Chinese,I don't know the difference between Mandarin and Chinse,can any body give me a proper definition about that.In addition,could you tell me where I can learn Mandarin in Shanghai,like some professional mandarin schools,or where I can find private tutors or teachers.
Chinese is a general term for languages spoken by Chinese, which consists seven major branches and hundreds of dialects。 The two most popular dialects spoken by overseas Chinese are Mandarin and Cantonese。
Mandarin is also the official language of China。 Generally, everybody in China speaks Mandarin Chinese, but the level varies。
Usually people that are younger or have higher education speak better Mandarin Chinese。 I am sure there are tons of Mandarin schools/classes in Shanghai, as well as private tutors and teachers。
